Jamie Driver Targets Kamyron Title Fight

Jamie Driver expects to return to bare-knuckle competition around the end of the year or early next year, and she already knows which fight she wants. Driver is targeting Khortni Kamyron for the BKB super-lightweight championship, a matchup that would place her back into a title fight after a long and frustrating recovery from an arm injury.

The date is not official. Driver described the rehabilitation as long and tedious and said the timing depends on how the arm responds as training intensity increases. Her preference is clear, but a medical clearance, contracts and an event announcement still have to arrive before the Kamyron fight can be treated as booked.

Rehabilitation Comes Before the Championship Plan

Injured fighters often name a return window before the final stages of camp reveal whether the body is ready. Driver has been careful enough to leave room between late this year and early next year. That range acknowledges the competitive goal without turning recovery into a deadline that might encourage her to rush.

The Kamyron matchup appeals because it offers an immediate destination. Driver wants the super-lightweight belt and has spoken about becoming a champion across multiple divisions. A title goal can sharpen training, but the arm has to tolerate punching volume, defensive contact and full sparring before ambition becomes preparation.

Driver attended BKB 58 while still working toward that return. Being around the event kept her connected to the division and allowed her to watch possible opponents without pretending she was already in fight shape. Aspen Ladd’s Debut Adds Another Possible Route

Driver also watched former UFC and PFL fighter Aspen Ladd face Bianca Daimoni. Driver has already beaten Daimoni, which makes the bout relevant to her own place in the division. She suggested that Ladd and Daimoni could eventually lead toward another significant matchup, depending on results and how BKB organizes its contenders.

That possibility should not replace the stated priority. Kamyron and the super-lightweight title are the target Driver named for her return. Ladd is an interesting future opponent because of her profile and transition into bare-knuckle fighting, not a confirmed booking standing between Driver and the championship.

The distinction matters in a sport where interviews can quickly become unofficial matchmaking. Driver can be interested in several fights while negotiating only one. Fans should expect the promotion to confirm the opponent and date before treating any of those ideas as part of an event card.

Driver’s previous win over Daimoni gives her confidence, but returning from a long layoff brings new questions. Timing, hand conditioning and willingness to absorb contact cannot be measured fully in rehabilitation sessions.
