A return to bare-knuckle boxing is one possibility because Page has competed there before, but no next contract has been announced. Other MMA promotions could also value a veteran who has lost only three times and remains on a four-fight winning streak. The sensible conclusion is that his UFC chapter has ended; it is too early to claim that his fighting career has.

There is a broader competitive question too. Page’s style asks opponents to take risks, and many choose not to chase him recklessly. That can produce tactical fights in which he wins exchanges without creating prolonged action. A new promotion may embrace that puzzle, or it may ask the same question the UFC did about whether wins alone are enough to justify a major role.

His age will influence the offers without defining them. At 39, Page is unlikely to be signed as a long development project, yet his recent results show that he can contribute immediately. Any interested promotion will be buying a recognizable style, a strong record and the possibility of compelling matchups, while also accepting that the contests may unfold at his preferred pace.
